Class Descriptions
Little Monsters! Lead Line Division
1. Lead line walk - All riders will be judged on proper riding posture such as heels down, eyes up, hand position, and two point (jumping) position.
2. Lead line Challenge - The challenge class is for all riders to have fun while showing off their skills to ride in various different ways. Examples are: Hands on your head, hips, or out like a plane. We may ask for a small trot, two-point position, even dropping stirrups and picking them back up! Tie breakers may include walking over a pole or turning around a cone.

3. Walk Equitation - Equitation Classes are based on the riders correct positioning and their ability to control their horse.
4. Walk Challenge Medal - The challenge class is for all riders to have fun while showing off their skills to ride in various different ways! Examples are: Riding with one hand on their hip, head, or up in the air. Showing the two-point jumping position or asked to drop their stirrups and pick them back up.
Witches and Warlocks! Beginning Walk/ Trot Division
5. Walk/ Trot Equitation - Equitation Classes are based on the riders correct positioning and their ability to control their horse. They will not be judged on correct diagonals but they will be judged on their ability to keep their horse going forward.
6. Walk/ Trot one pole Medal - This class is to show off their skills by being able to control their horse while going over a ground pole in a two-point jumping position.
Staying Alive! Open Walk/ Trot Division
7. Walk/ Trot Equitation - Equitation Classes are based on the riders correct riding posture and their ability to control their horse. Diagonals while trotting will be judged in this division. Riders well controlled transitions from walking to trotting and trotting to walking will also be judged.
8. Walk / Trot Crossrail Medal - This class is to show off their skills by being able to control their horse while going over a small cross rail jump in a two-point jumping position.
Jack- O- Lanterns! Open Beginning
9. Equitation (W/T/C) - Equitation Classes are based on the riders correct riding posture and their ability to control their horse. Diagonals while trotting will be judged in this division as well as correct canter leads. Riders well controlled transitions from walk, trot, and canter gaits will also be judged.
10. Equitation Challenge Medal- The challenge class is for all riders to have fun while showing off their skills to ride in various different ways! Examples are: Sit trotting, demonstrating the two-point jumping position, drop stirrups and pick them back up, you may also be asked to trot on the incorrect diagonals.
11. Equitation Two Jumps- This class is to show off the riders skills by being able to control their horse while going over two small cross rail jumps in a two-point jumping position. This may be shown at the trot or the canter.
Scary Clown! Four jump Course (18inches).
12. Equitation Flat Class - Equitation Classes are based on the riders correct riding posture and their ability to control their horse. Diagonals while trotting will be judged in this division as well as correct canter leads. Riders well controlled transitions from walk, trot, and canter gaits will also be judged.
13. Equitation Over fences - This class is to show off the riders skills by being able to control their horse while going over 4 small cross rail jumps in a two-point jumping position. This may be shown at the trot or the canter.
14. Equation Over fences Medal - This class is to show the riders skills by being able to control their horse while going over 4 small cross rail jumps in a two-point jumping position. This may be shown at the trot or the canter. The jumping course will be different than class 13.
Finally Flying! Eight Jump Course (Crossrails)
15. Equitation Flat - Equitation Classes are based on the riders correct riding posture and their ability to control their horse. Diagonals while trotting will be judged in this division as well as correct canter leads. Riders well controlled transitions from walk, trot, and canter gaits will also be judged.
16. Equitation Over Fences - This class is to show the riders skills by being able to control their horse while going over 8 small vertical jumps in a two-point jumping position. This may be shown at the trot or the canter.
17. Equation Over Fences Medal - This class is to show the riders skills by being able to control their horse while going over 8 small cross rail or vertical jumps in a two-point jumping position. This may be shown at the trot or the canter. The jumping course will be different than class 16.
Vertical Vampires! (Two foot)
18. Equitation Flat - Equitation Classes are based on the riders correct riding posture and their ability to control their horse. Diagonals while trotting will be judged in this division as well as correct canter leads. Riders well controlled transitions from walk, trot, and canter gaits will also be judged.
19. Equitation Over Fences - This class is to show the riders skills by being able to control their horse while going over 8 small vertical jumps in a two-point jumping position. This may be shown at the trot or the canter.
20. Equation Over Fences Medal - This class is to show the riders skills by being able to control their horse while going over 8 small cross rail or vertical jumps in a two-point jumping position. This may be shown at the trot or the canter. The jumping course will be different than class 16.
Halloween Horse and Rider Costume Contest! ENTRIES TAKEN DAY OF SHOW ($10 Entry Fee)
Classes are $50 per class number! Two class minimum per rider. Due to limitations, horses will be assigned.
Attire: Riding Pants, boots, any approved riding helmet, and a black,
white, grey, or hunter green tucked in polo shirt. Hair must be pulled back.
Appropriate Costumes may be worn in the show ring as well.
